Events & Stuff

I’m relatively active in the UX event space, primarily in London but occasionally abroad as well.

Currently, I serve as a local leader for IxDA’s London chapter, where we organise monthly events on interaction design topics, with an emphasis on industrial design, product design, human-machine interaction, interaction design pedagogy, amongst others.

I’ve also presented talks on various UX topics in the past. Topically, I’m interested in the gaps between craft domains and how practitioners bridge across domains to solve problems holistically. I am also interested in the broad practice of visual thinking and the mechanics of visual literacy (sketchnotes and beyond). I’ve also spoken about transitioning from a non-design career into UX.
